Richard B. Cheney is an American businessman, public servant as well as a politician. Cheney is a prominent figure in Washington politics, has served under four presidents in the United States. George W. Bush is the fourth. Bush selected Cheney as his vice presidential candidate in July 2000, citing Cheney's knowledge and expertise. Dick Cheney, who served in the United States as Secretary and Chief of Staff in the administration of a president, and also within Congress was a stellar serving our country. Both Republicans and Democrats admire him for his honesty. Cheney claims he's a discreet but honest advisor for Bush in his administration. Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30th, 1941) was the son Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been married with Richard Herbert Cheney for over 30 years. At the age of 13, Richard moved his family from Nebraska to Casper where his dad was Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture local district for soil conservation.
