Markie Post (born March 29 1959) is an American actress who is best known for Christine Sullivan, a public defender in NBCs Night Court. Terri Michaels, a bail bondwoman on ABCs drama The Fall Guy. Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman is a character on CBSs Hearts Afire. She's appeared on various other television shows besides acting. In her early years her family lived at Walnut Creek with her siblings and the poetry writer Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. It was where she played cheerleader. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post married Stephen Knox in the past. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer since 1982. They share two girls. Post is a role model for Hollywood for her role as a great actress as well as a wonderful wife and mom. The first credits for Post's career include a 1981 Barnaby-Jones pilot, Simon & Simon: Details at Eleven from 1981 season 1 episode 2. The Greatest American Hero and episodes of The A-Team. In 1983 she played different characters as The Only Church in Town and Hot Styles in 1984.
